Indiana State Men’s Conference – More Than a Conqueror, August 22nd and 23rd at Hobart Worship Center. There is no cost for registration and you can register off of the sign on the Gather Wall or sign up at the Info Counter. 

 

Discipleship 101 Begins Wednesday, Sept. 3rd – A study that everyone is encouraged to go through. This is a 14-week course taught by Dirk Shaw and Nellie Foster. There is a sign-up sheet at the Info Counter.

 

Diving Deeper Begins Wednesday, Sept. 3rd – Please join us as we dive deeper into God’s Word. This is a 7-week study on the book of Ruth. For more information see Abby Jadrich. There is a sign-up sheet at the Info Counter.

 

IGNITE Youth – The teens meet on Sunday evenings from 5:00-6:30 pm. They begin with food, then fun, and then a time in worship and a relevant message. Parents, thanks for our prayers, support, and effort in getting your kids here on Sunday nights. There is a sign-up sheet at the Info Counter if you could volunteer to provide the meal some Sunday evenings for our teens. Women’s Support Group – This group will meet the 1st Sunday of each month before church as a support group. There are a lot of things in life we go through, and you are not alone. This will be a time of sharing, listening, encouraging, and guiding with God’s Word. For more info, see Marie Jensen or Julie Marley.

 

Monday Evening Prayer –  Everyone is encouraged to join us. We have prayer on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at the church at 6:30 pm. I’m asking everyone that can, to join us for our hour of prayer for our church family.

 

Food Pantry – Our food pantry is open to our church family all the time and to the public the first Monday of each month. Please continue to donate to the food pantry. If you have a need for food, please see Pastor Jeff. Thank you to everyone that has donated and continues to donate food. For items needed see Nola or Gloria.

Life Groups @ The River – We have several groups that meet regularly in our church, and we will be adding more. We have, Consuming Fire 30-50, Souled Out 50ish and up, and our Men’s and Ladies that meet once a month for breakfast.

 

Daily Devotionals – Join us for each day for devotions. The link for our devotions will be pinned to our Facebook page. We use the YouVersion app for our devotions. It is a free app! Plan to meet us each day, at a time that works for you as we engage with the Word of God. 

 

Indiana Church of God Golf Scramble Aug. 9th – The Golf Scramble will be played at Bluff Creek Golf Course in Greenwood. The cost per golfer is $80 which includes golf and a pulled pork lunch before tee-off. All proceeds go towards the YWEA world mission project Grace for Greece. Lunch is at 12:00, registration at 1:00, and the shotgun start begins at 2:00. There is a sign-up sheet at the Info Counter. See Pastor Jeff if you have any questions. This is the best ball tournament and is for a great cause.

 

Consuming Fire Bowling for our 30’s & 40’s Adults – If you are in your 30’s & 40’s, we want you to join us for a fun time bowling together at Western Bowl, Saturday, August 30th at 1 pm. This is a 9-week course that will begin on Sunday, September 17th. The cost for the Course is $80 and includes the workbook and a fully editable digital workbook.
