Coffee Cruises are a fun way to get some miles in and enjoy some friendship along the way. They are usually about an hour out and back with time in the middle for some java (or whatever) and some conversation.
Typical River Riders Coffee Cruise (RR/CC)
- We will stage up at the Church prior to the 6pm start time.
- A River Rider Road Captain for that trip will lay out the run.
- We will travel in a regular staggered pattern with the lead rider taking position on the inside of the lane and all others falling in behind.
- At Destination, we will gather for a ‘coffee break’ and resume after a bit, usually traveling the same road home.
- These are Family Friendly ‘Fun Runs’* intended for whoever you may want to bring

The River Riders are NEITHER an MC (Motorcycle Club) nor an MM (Motorcycle Ministry), we are a group of folks from the River of Life Church that enjoying riding motorcycles and want to do so with others. Our rides (like our church) are open to all people and all brands of motorcycle. [We do ask that if you ‘wear colors’ from a recognized organization, that you consider the areas that we are venturing into and the possible ramifications to that choice. We want all riders to travel safely while on these cruises and the wearing of colors might constitute a disregard to some surrounding group’s domain.]
* The legal stuff: These are Rider Participant events that are joined in on by a person’s own freewill. Neither the River of Life Church of God nor any of its leaders, representatives or riders are at all responsible for the riding skill, or lack thereof, for any of the RR/CC events. Each rider is an independent participant and is solely responsible for their actions on and off of the motorcycle.
If an accident were to occur, we would seek immediate medical attention to the safety of the rider(s) and offer help in any way considered reasonable and within our collective scope of skills. But no rider, whether of the church or not, is responsible for any charges occurred during the resultant medical event. [That is not to say that if a rider error resulted in the harming of another rider that there would not be recourse with or against that particular rider]
There will be no alcohol consumed while on the trip in any way. That is to include on the road, at the break or on the return. If alcohol is detected, that rider will not be allowed to continue with the group for that event.
